- Do it. You’re Ready
Keep the legend alive: Decades of good health and added memories can be yours if you stay smart and work hard. And if you don’t exercise enough, or if you don’t eat as well as you should? It’s never too early to start.
You built it. Now protect it. You deserve to enjoy the life you’ve created for yourself. Just make sure you’re on top of these:
Make the right moves: How many time have you heard this: Eat right and exercise. That’s not changing anytime soon (or ever). If you need a little guidance on better diet or age-appropriate exercise, all you have to do is ask.
Do it once a year: Heart and cancer screenings are absolutely vital at this point in your life. The earlier a life-threatening disease is caught, the better your chances of defeating it. Your annual physical is a great place to start. Schedule your physical. Do it… You’re ready.
Nobody’s riding off into the sunset here. There’s still plenty of work to be done, and you’re the man for the job. Here’s what you’ll need:
• Normal BP (lower than 120/80) – get tested every 2 years.
• High BP (between 120/80 and 139/89) – get tested every year.
• Very High BP (over 140/90) – discuss treatment with your doctor.
Good news: Your annual physical will knock out several of these items in one visit. Request a physical now.
By now, you’ve figured out that you never stop learning. Try adding these health nuggets to your arsenal of knowledge.
Great thing about these quick, multiple-choice quizzes – no matter how many answers you get right, you still come out ahead. You know, that whole knowledge-is-power thing. Man enough to test yourself?
Quiz 1: Think you’re really exercising? Take it like a man.
Quiz 2: To eat or not to eat. Take it like a man.
Quiz 3: Is there a fountain of youth? Take it like a man.
